Dioxin & Furan Treatment

The incineration of wastes such as MSW in incineration plants, RSI or hospital waste causes the formation of gases containing a wide range of contaminants. Most contaminants can be captured by conventional methods such as bag filters, electrofilters, scrubber, etc. Even so, dioxins and heavy metals (such as mercury or cadmium) can’t be treated without the injection of activated charcoal powder, coke lignite or a natural mineral substance to reduce the level of contaminants below the legal threshold set. The equipment has the option of being certified ATEX 2D / 3D according to the risk analysis performed by the customer.
